Position: Programmer
The Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications aligned with the institution’s operational needs. The role requires the ability to analyze technical requirements, create efficient solutions, and work closely with IT and business teams to enhance system functionality.
Education and Training
- BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience and Technical Skills
- Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in system development or IT operations.
- Proven experience as a software programmer or developer.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with databases such as SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems including Git.
- Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, Django, or ASP.NET.
- Knowledge of mobile application development for Android or iOS.
Additional Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team structure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to evaluate technical information and provide solutions.
- Ability to apply technical standards, development principles, and system design techniques.
