VisionFund MicroFinance Institution (S.C.) was established under Proclamation No. 40/96 to provide financial services to the productive poor in both rural and urban areas across Ethiopia.
Operating in four Regional States, VisionFund MFI empowers communities by promoting financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods. Through its wide network of branches, VisionFund supports smallholder farmers, women entrepreneurs, and microbusiness owners with microcredit and financial literacy services.
The institution is currently seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join its team as Junior Customer Service Officers.
Position: Junior Customer Service Officer
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Economics, Management, Marketing, Public Administration, Rural Development, Cooperative Studies, Agriculture, or Agricultural Economics.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience (microfinance, customer service, or financial sector preferred).
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Strong technical ability, sound judgment, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, perseverance, and leadership potential.
- Ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Good understanding of economic and financial concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity, accountability, and sense of responsibility.
