Position: Junior E-Banking Officer

VisionFund Micro Finance Institution is looking for a qualified and motivated professional to join its Digital Banking Services Division as a Junior E-Banking Officer.

The successful candidate will support the operation, implementation, enhancement, and technical administration of electronic banking and digital financial services. The position also involves providing technical support to internal staff and customers, addressing digital banking complaints, monitoring system issues, and supporting users of E-Banking products and services.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with a background in Computer Science, Information Technology, digital financial services, electronic payment systems, and digital banking operations.

Education and Training

Applicants should have:

  • BSc Degree in Computer Science.
  • BSc Degree in Information Technology.
  • Or a degree in a related field.

Required Experience

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience.

Technical and Professional Skills

Successful candidates should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.

  • Understanding of digital banking channels, operations, and services.

Major Responsibilities

The Junior E-Banking Officer will support the effective operation and continuous improvement of the institution’s digital banking services.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Technical Support

  • Provide technical support to internal staff and customers.
  • Follow up on technical issues affecting E-Banking services.
  • Investigate system-related problems reported by customers and branches.
  • Follow up on the correction of identified system errors.

2. E-Banking System Management

  • Periodically identify gaps in E-Banking systems and take appropriate corrective measures.
  • Participate in the implementation, enhancement, and support of E-Banking systems.
  • Participate in the implementation of remaining E-Banking products and services.
  • Ensure approved and correct formats are used for account opening.
  • Ensure appropriate changes are made to E-Banking system configurations and parameters.

3. Digital Financial Services Support

  • Provide timely support and feedback regarding customer complaints related to digital financial services.
  • Support the effective operation of digital banking channels.
  • Assist in maintaining reliable E-Banking products and services.
  • Help identify opportunities for improving digital financial service delivery.

4. User Training and Support

  • Provide training to users on E-Banking products and services.
  • Assist internal users in understanding and properly using digital banking systems.
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance when required.

5. Other Duties

  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the Manager of the Digital Banking Services Division.

Working Conditions and Travel

The position is primarily based in an office environment.

The role may require travel to Area and Branch Offices as necessary to support digital banking operations and services.
