The University of Southern Maine International Merit Scholarships 2025–26 aim to support bright and talented international students by offering generous annual tuition waivers:
Available Scholarships:
- USM Scholarship – $7,000 per year
- Dirigo Scholarship – $11,000 per year
- President’s Scholarship – $11,000 per year
These scholarships are automatically considered upon admission. No separate scholarship application is needed!
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Open to all international students
Eligible Programs: Any Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program, including but not limited to:
- Business & Accounting
- Computer Science & IT
- Engineering & Sciences
- History, Art & Design
- Social Sciences & Humanities
- Health Sciences
Documents Required:
- Previous academic certificates/transcripts
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS)
- Personal statement
- Passport copy
Admission Requirement:
- High school diploma (for undergraduate)
- Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s applicants)
🗣 Language Proficiency:
- TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent as per course requirements
