Scholarship Benefits
The University of Pecs Hungarian Scholarships 2026 cover:
- Tuition Fee: Fully waived for all degree levels
- Monthly Stipend:
- Bachelor, Master, One-tier Master: HUF 43,700 per month
- PhD: HUF 140,000 per month
- Accommodation: Dormitory placement OR HUF 40,000 monthly contribution for housing
- Medical Insurance: Health coverage as per Hungarian legislation, plus supplementary insurance up to HUF 100,000 per year
- Travel Allowance: In some cases
The scholarship supports students for the full duration of their program: 4 years for Bachelor’s, 2 years for Master’s, and 3 years for PhD.

- Medical & Health Sciences
- Natural Sciences
- Human & Social Sciences
- Business & Economics
- Arts and Engineering
Programs offered include: 31 Bachelor’s, 29 Master’s, 8 One-tier Master, and 15 Doctoral Degree programs.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following:
- Non-Hungarian citizens (International Students)
- Physically and mentally fit
- For Bachelor’s: 12-year school certificate
- For Master’s: Bachelor’s degree required
- For PhD: Master’s degree required
- Proof of English proficiency if previous degree instruction was not in English
- Low-income applicants are preferred but not mandatory
