About UNECA
The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) works to promote Africa’s economic and social development. This internship provides an opportunity to support ECA’s Finance and Budget Section while contributing to digital, inclusive, and efficient administrative and financial processes.
Position: Internship – Finance and Budget Section
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Be a student in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s, or Ph.D. programme.
- Have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. programme.
- Be pursuing or have completed studies in Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Have an academic or practical interest relevant to administrative and finance support services.
Digital Skills & Interests
Applicants should demonstrate an interest in:
- Digital tools and automation.
- Process improvement.
- Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft Forms.
- SharePoint.
- Power Automate.
- Power BI.
- Dashboards and trackers.
- Other related digital tools.
Applicants may demonstrate their experience through coursework, university projects, personal learning, volunteer activities, or other relevant experiences.
