Internship Overview
UNDP Ethiopia invites motivated and capable fresh graduates and postgraduates to apply for its Inclusive Growth Associates Internship Programme. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international development within the UN system.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a postgraduate degree program (e.g., Master’s) OR
- Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in:
- Economics
- Public Policy
- Development Studies
- Other Social Sciences
- If selected, candidates must begin the internship within one year of graduation.
Experience:
- No work experience required.
- Relevant experience in international development or SDGs-related research is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong drafting and editing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of international development topics such as the SDGs
- Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or Communications skills are desirable
- Knowledge of the UN system is an asset
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required
- French proficiency is highly desirable
