Position Title: Non-Immigrant Visa Assistant
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Salary: USD $11,806 per year

The U.S. Mission in Ethiopia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Non-Immigrant Visa Assistant.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
- Completion of high school is required.
- Applicants must address this requirement in the ERA application under Education.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum two (2) years of experience involving:
- Application of regulations and laws
- Extensive public contact
- Customer service
- Problem-solving

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Good working knowledge (speaking, reading, writing) of English is required.
- Fluent (speaking, reading, writing) in Amharic is required.
Language proficiency may be tested. Applicants must clearly address language skills in the ERA application.
JOB KNOWLEDGE
- Good understanding of:
- Local governmental organizations
- Immigration law and practices
- Cultural and social practices

EVALUATION PROCESS
