Scholarship Types Offered
Tsinghua University offers two main types of scholarships:

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to non-Chinese nationals
• Good physical and mental health
• Not currently enrolled in a Chinese university
• For Master’s applicants: Bachelor’s degree and age under 35
• For PhD applicants: Master’s degree and age under 40

• Statement of Purpose (500 words)
• Leadership Essay (750 words)

• Three Letters of Recommendation

How to Apply

All applications must be submitted through the Tsinghua Online Application Portal.

Ensure all required documents are prepared in advance and submitted before the deadline. Selection takes place in October–November 2025, and the academic session begins in August 2026.
