The Tsinghua University Amgen Scholars Program 2026 is an 8-week fully funded summer research internship for undergraduate students passionate about careers in the sciences. Selected scholars will gain hands-on research experience in faculty-led laboratories, learn about biotechnology and drug discovery, and participate in academic and professional development activities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an undergraduate student in Asia
- Completed at least one full year of a bachelor’s degree before program start
- Must have at least one semester/quarter remaining after the program
- Strong academic record
- Ability to communicate in English (IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge/TOEIC if English is not the first language)
- Interest in research and potential pursuit of further studies (e.g., PhD) is highly encouraged
Program Requirements
- Scholars must stay for the entire program duration
- No other courses or part-time work allowed
- Must live in the accommodation provided by Tsinghua University
- Mandatory participation in lab meetings, orientation sessions, academic activities, and social events
- Punctuality for all scheduled activities
- Prepare a poster presentation of the research project
- Submit a research paper to the program director at the end of the program
