About Transsion Manufacturing Plc
Transsion Manufacturing Plc was established through the merger of Weiguo Yu, assembler of Tecno mobile phones, and Junjie Lui, manufacturer of accessories. The company operates a factory inside the Ethio ICT Village, located around Bole Lemi Industrial Park in Addis Ababa.
The factory covers a total area of 25 hectares and brings together its ICT-related brands, including Tecno, Itel, Infinix, Carlcare, and Afmobi.
In addition, the company operates a home appliance manufacturing facility under the brand Synix, located in Alemgena town, where Tecno mobile phones are assembled.
Position 1: Sales Promoter

Qualifications and Skills
- Passion for the mobile phone industry
- Strong sales and customer service orientation
- Commitment to company policies and standards
Physical and Professional Requirements
- Minimum High School education or TVET qualification
- Age: 25 years or below
- Energetic, proactive, and well-presented
- Excellent interpersonal and selling skills

Position 2: Videographer & Video Editor
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or related field preferred
- Diploma in Videography/Video Editing is acceptable with proven experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of lighting, framing, and audio recording
- Experience creating YouTube and short-form social media content
- Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual composition skills
- Proven experience as a videographer and video editor
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work is required
