Position Overview – Junior Accountant
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, including transaction processing, record keeping, and assisting with reconciliations. The role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with other team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates with strong academic performance will be considered).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Entry-level knowledge of QuickBooks or Peachtree accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
Preferred (Added Advantage):
- Proficiency in Peachtree / QuickBooks software.
- Experience in stock or inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP or stock management systems.
