About Trade Ethiopia
Trade Ethiopia is a web-based B2B marketplace connecting businesses and farmers with local and international buyers. The platform enables users to access fair pricing, find suppliers, and manage transactions conveniently using their smartphones, without the need to travel to physical markets. Trade Ethiopia aims to empower businesses and enhance trade efficiency across Ethiopia and beyond.
Position Details
1. Data Science Officer
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience: 0–2 years
Key Skills:
- Data analysis and statistical techniques
- MS Excel, SQL, and at least one data analysis tool (Python, R, Power BI, Tableau)
- Database management principles
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
2. IT Officer
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Multimedia, or related field
Key Skills:
- Basic computer networking and IT maintenance
- Graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar)
- Website development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress)
- Problem-solving and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with React, Next.js, or modern web frameworks
- Knowledge of server management or cloud platforms
- Basic video editing skills
- Corporate or multi-department experience
3. Recruitment & Employer Subscription Officer
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s in HR, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Psychology, Development Studies, or IT/Digital Systems (advantageous)
Experience: 1–4 years in recruitment, HR, sales, customer service, NGOs, or educational institutions
4. Sales Officer
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
Experience: 0 years (fresh graduates eligible)
Key Skills:
- Sales strategies and industry regulations
- Negotiation, consultative selling, and customer service
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
