Qualifications and Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role
- Experience in a high-traffic and confidential environment such as healthcare is preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Customer Service: Professional and patient-focused attitude with the ability to remain courteous under pressure
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and other office equipment
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Multitasking: Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a busy and interruption-prone environment
- Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
The position is responsible for:
- Providing professional front-desk and customer service support
- Assisting physicians with patient preparation
- Managing and coordinating patient appointments
- Supporting the smooth flow of patients within the hospital
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
- Supporting an efficient and patient-centered healthcare experience from check-in through follow-up
