Position: Sales Representative – Fuel & Lubricants
The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling fuel and lubricant products to retail and corporate customers, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Business Administration
- Marketing
- Sales
- Economics
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- or other related fields
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in:
- Petroleum products
- Lubricants
- FMCG
- Automotive or industrial sectors
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets
- Good knowledge of the Ethiopian market
- Proficiency in Amharic and English (additional local languages are an advantage)
- Willingness and ability to travel up-country frequently
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell fuel and lubricant products to existing and potential customers
- Identify new business opportunities and develop new client accounts
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to company growth
- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong client relationships
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and periodic sales reports
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery
- Follow up on customer payments in collaboration with the finance department
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Preferred Skills
- Experience in B2B sales
- Knowledge of fuel and lubricant products
- Existing customer network in transport, construction, or industrial sectors
