Anbessa Electric is an upscale water and energy-focused electromechanical company headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. As part of its expansion strategy, the company is strengthening its sales force and invites qualified, motivated, and dedicated professionals to apply for the following position.
Position: Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting sales activities through technical expertise, customer engagement, and market development while working under minimal supervision.
Educational Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering (preferably Power or Control)
- 0–1 year of relevant work experience
- Female applicants are highly encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and respond to customer inquiries with appropriate technical offers
- Conduct frequent customer visits to identify business opportunities, gather feedback, and build strong relationships
- Develop customer base and generate new sales leads
- Evaluate and prepare technical and financial bid proposals
- Prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports
- Manage stock and prepare monthly inventory reports
- Attend trade fairs and exhibitions
- Identify potential competitors and prepare competitor analysis reports
- Support the Technical Manager in handling company operations
