Stand for Vulnerable Organization (SVO) is a rapidly growing local civil society organization and social enterprise dedicated to creating holistic transformation through humanitarian and social enterprise initiatives. SVO works to empower vulnerable communities, promote sustainable livelihoods, and foster innovation and social impact.
SVO invites qualified and motivated fresh graduates and early-career professionals to apply for the following positions.
Position 1: Junior Accountant
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Accounting
- Accounting and Finance
- Economics
- Business Management
- Business Administration
- Or related fields
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience
Applicants must be:
- Fresh graduates from the Classes of 2024 (2016 E.C.), 2025 (2017 E.C.), or 2026 (2018 E.C.) with no work experience, or
- Graduates from the same batches with up to two (2) years of work experience.
GPA Requirement
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work and live with a team.
Language Requirements
- Proficiency in Afan Oromo (Mandatory)
- Good command of Amharic
- Good command of English
Duty Station
- Addis Ababa, with occasional travel to project sites.
Position 2: Junior Supervisor
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Business Administration
- Management
- Marketing
- Marketing Management
- Accounting
- Accounting and Finance
- Economics
- Or related fields
Required Skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and marketing skills.
Experience
Applicants must be:
- Fresh graduates from the Classes of 2024 (2016 E.C.), 2025 (2017 E.C.), or 2026 (2018 E.C.) with no work experience, or
- Graduates from the same batches with up to two (2) years of work experience.
