Position: Sales and Marketing Officer (Nazava)
Educational Qualification:
- BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Experience in the WASH sector and project management is an added advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the Ethiopian market, especially rural areas and private sector dynamics.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in Amharic and English; Oromifa proficiency is advantageous.
- Solid networking abilities and familiarity with governmental and institutional structures.
- Proactive, flexible, and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Market Development:
- Identify and develop new market channels and sales opportunities.
- Conduct market research to assess customer needs, preferences, and emerging trends.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Strengthen brand visibility and positioning.
- Gather competitor and customer insights to support marketing decisions.
Sales Management:
- Lead B2B and B2C sales activities to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and institutional buyers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with partners.
- Monitor sales performance and provide timely reports.
Customer Service:
- Supervise after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collect and respond to customer feedback.
- Maintain long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.
Channel Management:
- Develop and expand distribution networks (retailers, supermarkets, and institutional clients).
- Conduct training and sensitization for partners and resellers.
- Strengthen existing sales networks and identify new partners.
Partnership Development:
- Establish partnerships with NGOs, microfinance institutions, and development organizations.
- Collaborate with government bodies including Bureaus of Health and Water Utilities.
- Support joint proposals that promote Nazava’s market growth and social impact.
