Role Summary
Etihad Airways is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join its Addis Ababa team. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong commercial skills, industry awareness, and a passion for driving business growth. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets using tools and insights from the Sales Strategy and Planning team.
- Analyze market potential and leverage the sales toolkit to convert prospects into high-value customers.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients using modern account nurturing techniques.
- Conduct regular meetings with customers to promote new services, offers, and promotions.
- Build a trusted advisor status with major accounts to enhance client loyalty and business development.
- Research and report on competitors, market trends, and customer needs to improve Etihad’s market positioning.
- Collaborate with global teams to implement effective sales and promotional strategies.
- Monitor market performance and take corrective actions to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel, airline, or hospitality sectors.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel and reside near an Etihad gateway city in the assigned territory.
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in sales processes, customer service, and market intelligence.
