The company provides air, ocean, and road freight forwarding services to clients in export/import trade, manufacturing, road infrastructure, and humanitarian aid sectors. MACCFA also specializes in project logistics for rail, power, and industrial plant expansion projects.
Position: Sales Officer (Inside Sales – Air & Ocean)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming sales enquiries and RFQs; prepare accurate, competitive quotations.
- Coordinate with operations, pricing, and product teams to ensure feasibility, transit times, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline; follow up on quotations and update CRM systems.
- Support bids and tenders with rate builds, data, and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: BA degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related fields.
- Experience: 1–3 years in pricing and/or sales administration within a freight forwarding or logistics company.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and spoken English.
- Solid analytical, quoting, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in quotation systems and MS Office tools.
- Negotiation, influencing, and professional communication skills.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.
