JOB POSITION & REQUIREMENTS

Position 1: Product Specialist– Merchant & Agent Credit-Internal/External

Education & Experience:

•    Bachelor’s degree in a technology or business-related field from a recognized university
•    A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
•    At least 1 years’ experience in a Bank or Financial Services industry handling either Project Management, Product Management related to digital lending products
•    Business Analysis Experience in handling either partnerships or business development is an added advantage.
•    Track record of innovation and development of new products and services
•    Must demonstrate strategy execution/delivery
Must have excellent financial and analytical skills

Position 2: Executive Head of Department M-PESA payments

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:

•    The ideal candidate for this role must have experience in managing a broad portfolio of mobile money/Fintech products/solutions entire lifecycle; with demonstrated leadership in new product development and deployment.
•    A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or related fields; an MBA or equivalent is highly desirable.
•    Over 6 years of experience in mobile payments, fintech, or related financial services, with significant leadership experience.
•    Demonstrated expertise in payment system technologies, mobile money platforms, and digital financial services.
•    Strong business acumen, with a track record of strategic planning and execution leading to significant business growth.
•    Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and manage teams across diverse geographical locations.
•    In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards governing mobile payments and financial services.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Position 3: Executive Head of Department -Trade Marketing

Professional Qualifications:

• Degree in a Business related field
• Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage
• Intermediate knowledge of business finance principles is essential.
• 8 years hands on experience in a Sales Distribution management in a FMCG or service sector of which 2
years must have been in a sales managerial position, preferably in a fast moving consumer goods company

Position 4: Executive Head of Department M-PESA Commercial Planning and Pricing

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:

•    Advanced degree in Data science, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
•    Over 7 years of senior leadership experience in data analytics, business reporting, CVM and pricing within the fintech, banking or digital payments sectors.
•    Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic commercial plans and innovative pricing strategies.
•    Very strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
•    Exceptional leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
•    Excellent communication skills, with the aptitude to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Position 5: Program Manager: Fiber Deployment

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ability to align fiber deployment goals with organizational strategies and long-term objectives.
  • Proficiency in managing large-scale, multi-project programs, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models).
  • Strong skills in communicating with diverse stakeholders, including executives, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • In-depth understanding of fiber technologies, deployment processes, and network architecture (e.g., backbone, metro, FTTS, FTTB).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivate members, and manage performance across diverse geographies.
  • Analytical skills to assess challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions under tight timelines.
  • Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Skilled in managing changes to scope, budget, and timelines while minimizing disruptions.
  • Strong focus on maintaining high-quality standards across all phases of fiber deployment.
  • Understanding end-user needs and ensuring the fiber network meets performance and reliability expectations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of backbone, metro, FTTS, and FTTB network design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with local, national, and international standards and regulations governing fiber deployment.
  • Knowledge of industry benchmarks, such as ITU-T standards, and best practices in fiber-optic network deployment.
  • Expertise in fiber splicing tools, optical power meters, OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), and GIS mapping tools.
  • Understanding of contract negotiation, performance tracking, and vendor relationship management.
  • Knowledge of IP/MPLS, DWDM, GPON, and other relevant networking technologies.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end fiber deployment programs across multiple regions.
  • Experience in managing large budgets, cost optimization, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience working with multiple vendors, suppliers, and contractors in diverse geographical locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with engineering, procurement, operations, and regulatory teams to achieve program goals.
  • Experience in addressing technical, operational, and stakeholder-related challenges effectively.

Position 6: EHOD, PMO Technology

Professional Qualifications:

· A bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant area
· Project, Program management certification
· Min 10 years of senior management or executive role
· Deep industry knowledge
· Proficiency in using project and portfolio management tools like Microsoft Project
· Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
· Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
· High adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
