Contract Duration: Four months
Duty Stations: Addis Ababa, Assosa, Gambella, Jigjiga, Melkadida, Semera, Gondar (applicants must indicate their preferred exam location)
Payment: 1,746 ETB per day (paid monthly)

About Refugees and Returnees Service (RRS)
The Refugees and Returnees Service (RRS) is a governmental organization dedicated to providing essential services to refugees and returnees in Ethiopia. The country currently hosts nearly 1 million refugees from over 19 countries, accommodated across 25 refugee camps in six regional states. RRS works in collaboration with UN agencies, government bodies, NGOs, and civil society organizations to deliver basic and social services to refugees.
Position: Refugee Registration Officer II
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Management Information Systems, or Software Engineering from a recognized university or college.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in data encoding, registration, data management, or a related role.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of network systems, computer applications, security, and protocols.
- Familiarity with IT policies, registration procedures, and best practices.
- Prior experience with RRS, UNHCR, or IOM in a refugee context is an advantage.
Scope of Work & Considerations
- Qualified applicants from across Ethiopia are eligible to apply.
- Reassignment within RRS operational locations may occur depending on workload.
