About Refugees and Returnees Service
The Refugees and Returnees Service (RRS) is a government organization established to provide services and support to refugees and returnees in Ethiopia.
Ethiopia currently hosts close to 1 million refugees from more than 19 countries. Refugees are hosted in approximately 25 refugee camps across six regional states and receive various basic and social services through collaboration between UN agencies, government institutions, non-governmental organizations, and civil society organizations.
Position: Junior Mechanic
RRS is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Junior Mechanic at its Melkadida Branch Office.
Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Option 1:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Mechanics, General Mechanics, or a related field.
- No prior work experience is required.
Option 2:
- Diploma in Automotive Mechanics, General Mechanics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Driving License Requirement
Applicants must have a valid driving license in one of the following categories:
- Category 3
- Public-1
- Dry-1
- Taxi-2
- Special Driving License
Documents Required
Applicants are required to submit copies of their:
- Educational certificates/documents.
- Work experience certificates/documents.
- Relevant documents starting from Grade 8.
Nature of Work
The successful candidate must be:
- Willing and able to undertake field travel as required.
- Willing to work overtime when necessary.
Salary and Duty Station
Salary: ETB 38,000 per month
Duty Station: Melkadida Branch Office
