About Lemi National Cement
Lemi National Cement, with its recently completed Lemi Plant (September 2024) in addition to its Dire Dawa facility, is one of the leading cement producers in Ethiopia. The company operates under a joint venture between East African Holding and West International Holding (WIH), a major Chinese industrial enterprise.
Following its expansion, National Cement now covers more than 50% of Ethiopia’s cement demand. The joint venture agreement includes a USD 2.2 billion phased investment aimed at strengthening production capacity and industrial development nationwide.
