Nib International Bank (NIB) was established on May 26, 1999, under license no. LBB/007/99, in line with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia and the Banking Business Proclamation no. 84/1994. At inception, NIB had a paid-up capital of ETB 27.6 million, an authorized capital of ETB 150 million, and 717 shareholders.
The Bank commenced operations on October 28, 1999, with only 27 employees, becoming the sixth private bank licensed in Ethiopia. Since then, NIB has grown into a strong financial institution, providing modern banking services, including Interest Free Banking (IFB), across Ethiopia.
Position Details
Interest Free Banking Supervisor
- Educational Qualification:
- M.A./B.A. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
- Experience & Skills:
- 7 years (B.A.) / 5 years (M.A.) of banking work experience.
- At least 2 years as a Senior Interest Free Banking Officer or in equivalent positions.
- Work Location: Addis Ababa, Adama, Bahir Dar, Hossaena, Mekelle, Dessie, Dire Dawa
- Salary & Benefits: As per NIB’s salary scale, with attractive fringe benefits.
