Nib Insurance Company (NIC) was established on May 2, 2002, by 658 shareholders with an authorized capital of Birr 50 million and paid-up capital of Birr 14 million.
The company initially operated with four branches in Addis Ababa and a staff of fewer than 50 employees. Currently, its paid-up capital has increased to Birr 250 million, with 1,014 shareholders.
Nib Insurance provides both General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance Services to its clients.
Position 1: Senior Human Resource Development Officer
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should have:
- BA Degree in:
- Management
- Human Resource Management
- Public Administration
- Related fields
Experience Requirement
- 6 years of relevant experience
- Of which 4 years as:
- Training Officer II
- Human Resource Officer II
- Similar position

Position 2: Branch Manager I
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should have:
- BA Degree in:
- Banking & Insurance
- Management
- Accounting & Finance
- Economics
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Related fields
Experience Requirement
- 5 years of relevant experience, of which:
- 2 years as Senior Underwriting Officer, or
- 2 years as Senior Claims Officer, or
- 1 year as Contact Office Head, or
- 3 years as Underwriting Officer II, or
- 3 years as Claims Officer II, or
- Similar position
