About the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE)
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is an independent institution established under Article 102 of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The Board operates at federal and regional levels, including the two administrative cities.
Since its establishment, NEBE has conducted five national elections, two local elections, and six referendums. Following Proclamation No. 1133/2019, the Board was restructured to a five-member full-time management body serving six-year terms, strengthening its institutional independence and operational effectiveness.

- Master’s or BA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or related administrative fields

- 3 years of experience for BA Degree holders in data entry or administrative work

Position 2: Data-Encoder Coordinator
Education and Work Experience
- Master’s or BA Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields
- 5 years of experience for Master’s Degree holders
- 7 years of experience for BA Degree holders in data management or coordination roles

Position 3: Document Organizer
Education and Work Experience
- BA Degree or Diploma in Office Administration, Records Management, Business Administration, or related fields
- 1 year of experience for BA Degree holders
- 3 years of experience for Diploma holders in documentation or administrative roles

Position 4: IT Technician (Warehouse Level)
Education and Work Experience
- Master’s or BA/BSc Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, ICT Support Services, or related fields

- 3 years of experience for BA/BSc Degree holders in technical support or IT operations
