Position 1: Underwriting / Claims Officer I
Responsibilities:
As Underwriting / Claims Officer I, you will support risk assessment, policy underwriting, and claims processing functions. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance operations and client servicing.
Qualifications:
- Education: BSc/BA in Marketing Management, Accounting & Finance, Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Underwriting, Claims, or Reinsurance within the Insurance sector
- Language: Fluency in Afan Oromo, Amharic, and English (spoken & written)
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Leadership potential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Age: Below 35 years
- Number of Vacancies: 4
Position 2: Underwriting / Claims Officer II
Responsibilities:
This role builds upon the foundational knowledge of Officer I and focuses on managing more complex claims and underwriting assessments while contributing to reinsurance analysis and client risk evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Education: BSc/BA in Marketing Management, Accounting & Finance, Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Underwriting, Claims, or Reinsurance in the Insurance Industry
- Language: Fluency in Afan Oromo, Amharic, and English (spoken & written)
- Skills:
- Proven communication and leadership abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capacity
- Self-motivated and independent in execution
- Age: Below 35 years
- Number of Vacancies: 4
