MKDSS Smart Card Factory invites qualified and interested candidates to apply for the position of Graphics Designer.
Position: Graphics Designer
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have a qualification from a recognized institution in one of the following fields:
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design
- Pre-press Technology
- Production Technology
- Manufacturing Technology
- A related field
Work Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a print production environment
- Experience in packaging or label printing is preferred
- Experience in the smart card industry is an advantage
Required Technical Skills
Applicants should have:
- Proficiency in graphic design and pre-press software
- Strong knowledge of color separation, trapping, imposition, and CTP file preparation
- Understanding of print production standards, including dimensions, layout, image quality, and font requirements
- Ability to assess artwork for production feasibility and recommend technical solutions
- Knowledge of payment scheme branding guidelines such as Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX is an advantage

Key Responsibilities
The Graphics Designer will be responsible for:
- Creating and adapting designs for smart cards, NFC products, and payment cards according to customer requirements and technical specifications
- Preparing production files with accurate dimensions, layouts, colors, image quality, and fonts
- Managing customization requests and multiple client projects, including design revisions
- Preparing files for printing, including color separation, trapping, imposition, and CTP (Computer-to-Plate) preparation
- Collaborating with the printing department to resolve color and design issues during production
- Conducting quality control inspections to ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness
- Liaising with customers and internal departments, including Customer Service, Sales, and Production
- Ensuring compliance with strict quality management guidelines (CQM) and payment scheme branding standards, including Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX
- Evaluating customer artwork for potential production problems and providing appropriate technical design solutions
- Systematically storing design samples and documents according to established procedures
- Implementing company requirements, regulations, decisions, and security policies
- Performing other duties assigned by the manager
