Position: Junior Accountant
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- Prior internship or entry-level accounting experience is a plus
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with all financial regulations and accounting standards
- Perform daily data entry tasks to maintain accurate accounting records
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
- Assist in generating financial reports and statements
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Support senior accountants on ad-hoc projects and assignments
