About Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C
Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C is a transformed commercial microfinance institution established under Proclamation No. 40/96 and revised Proclamation No. 626/2009 issued by the National Bank of Ethiopia.
The institution provides financial and non-financial services to Medium and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and low-income communities, particularly women, across urban and rural areas of Ethiopia.
Meklit Microfinance is currently seeking competent and qualified applicants for the following positions.
Available Positions
Position 1: Internal Auditor II
Qualification Requirements
- BA Degree / Diploma in Accounting & Finance, Auditing, or related fields
- 4 years (Degree) / 2 years (Diploma) relevant work experience
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Word & MS Excel)
Duty Station
Butajira Branch
Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: Birr 27,243.00
- Transport Allowance: Birr 1,500.00
- Mobile Allowance: Birr 400.00
Position 2: Risk & Compliance Management Officer
Qualification Requirements
- BA or Master’s Degree in Risk Management, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related fields
- 6 years (BA) / 4 years (Master’s) relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and governance standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Word & MS Excel)
Duty Station

Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: Birr 26,925.00
- Transport Allowance: Birr 3,500.00
- Mobile Allowance: Birr 400.00
Position 3: Marketing, BDs Planning & Institutional Reform Department Manager
Qualification Requirements
- BA or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, Management, or related fields
- 8 years (BA) / 6 years (Master’s) relevant work experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Proven experience in policy development and institutional strengthening
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and work with senior stakeholders
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Word & MS Excel)

Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: Birr 90,917.00
- Transport Allowance: 150 Liters of Benzene
- Position Allowance: 5%
- Mobile Card: Unlimited
