Fellowship Summary
The KWI Fellowship 2026 is designed for exceptional international scholars with up to six years of postdoctoral experience. The fellowship provides an opportunity to work on a self-designed project aligned with KWI’s research agenda while engaging with a dynamic scholarly community. Fellows will benefit from comprehensive research support, institutional affiliation, and full funding to live and work in Germany for six months.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have earned a PhD and possess no more than six years of postdoctoral research experience
- Open to international scholars from all countries
- German nationals may only apply if currently employed outside Germany
