Position Summary: Area Sales Representative (ASR)
As an Area Sales Representative, you will be the face of Komari in your assigned sales territory. This role is critical to driving sales volumes, strengthening distributor and outlet relationships, managing product delivery routes, and gathering valuable market intelligence. You will work closely with the trade marketing and distribution teams to ensure product visibility, customer satisfaction, and consistent growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily route sales in assigned areas and ensure product delivery to outlets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors
- Collect, analyze, and report sales data and market trends
- Identify new sales opportunities and recommend outlet promotions
- Monitor and manage proper placement and use of Komari’s trade assets
- Track competitor activities, provide feedback, and recommend improvements
- Resolve customer concerns and support in maintaining high service standards
- Coordinate with truck personnel and maintain outlet-level rapport
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- BA degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field from a recognized university
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of professional experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or retail
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, and quick to learn
- Assertive and confident in handling customer interactions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and email communication
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to contribute to a fast-paced startup environment
