Position: Knowledge Management Intern
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or a related field
- Passion for public health topics
- Proven experience in content development, writing, editorial work, and graphic design (work samples may be requested)
- Dedicated, reliable, and highly adaptive team player with intercultural sensitivity
- Diplomatic, gender-aware, and capable of professional discourse under pressure
- Strategic and analytical thinking with ability to grasp new concepts rapidly
- Proactive and creative, offering own ideas and suggestions
- Experience in social media content production and management is an advantage
- Experience in design and video production with tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro is preferred
- Strong research, documentation, and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel to other regions in Ethiopia
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams)
- Technical affinity for multimedia, web, digital tools, and content management systems is an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Support content development and knowledge management initiatives for JSI projects
- Assist in production and management of multimedia, social media, and digital content
- Conduct research and documentation on relevant public health topics
- Contribute creative ideas for knowledge-sharing and communications campaigns
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and child safety in all work
