ICL is the only laboratory in Ethiopia accredited by the USA-based Joint Commission International (JCI) five consecutive times and provides world-class clinical laboratory services with more than 300 advanced diagnostic tests.
ICL is inviting qualified and competent applicants to join its Client Relations Department for the following position.
Position: Client Service Representative
Education
Applicants should have:
- BSc Degree or Diploma in health-related fields
- Preferably in Medical Laboratory Science or related fields
Experience
Candidates should have:
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar role
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Major Responsibilities
The Client Service Representative will:
- Assist client accounts with sample follow-up and timely delivery of laboratory results
- Ensure proper sample collection techniques according to ICL SOPs
- Provide information regarding pricing rates and test panels
- Support invoice settlement processes
- Assist clients in using web order systems for test requests and result retrieval
- Represent ICL professionally when communicating with clients
- Register and monitor daily sales volumes from clients
- Monitor scheduled tests and ensure timely result delivery
- Refill supplies and monitor usage compared with incoming tests and samples
- Resolve invoice-related issues and encourage timely payments
- Collect service payments and transfer them to the cashier
- Address service-related issues between ICL and client clinics
- Conduct monthly client visits and satisfaction surveys
- Monitor sample and payment issues through Oracle (BI) systems
- Generate client service work lists from Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Clear incomplete data from LIS systems on a daily basis
- Promote ICL laboratory services to new and existing clients
- Report discontinued, resumed, and new tests to relevant departments
- Communicate results through fax, email, or telephone when required
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates to the Client Relations Manager
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors
