Educational Requirements
- At least a Master’s Degree (preferred) in:
- Research
- Economics
- Business Administration
- Development Studies
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Statistics
- Data Science
- Business Analytics
- Marketing
- Public Health
- Other research-related fields
- Exceptional Bachelor’s degree holders may also apply.
CGPA Requirements
- For Master’s degree holders:
- Minimum CGPA 3.6/4.0 (or equivalent) at both undergraduate and graduate levels
- For Bachelor’s degree holders:
- Minimum CGPA 3.8/4.0 (or equivalent)
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research expertise
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- Strong statistical and mathematical aptitude
- Experience in:
- Statistical modeling
- Research design
- Experimental design
- Sampling and clustering
- Data reduction and predictive modeling
- Proficiency in one or more statistical software programs
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Ability to communicate complex analytics clearly to clients
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams
- Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills

Position 2: Administrative Assistant
Educational Requirements
- TVET Level III, IV, or V in:
- Secretarial Science
- Office Management
- Accounting / Bookkeeping
- Business Administration
- Information Technology
- Related fields
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
- Good written and verbal communication in English and Amharic
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and local tax regulations
- Experience with accounting software (Peachtree/Sage or QuickBooks) is an advantage
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of honesty, responsibility, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative support
- Maintain financial and office records
- Manage petty cash fund
- Disburse approved payments
- Maintain staff and field worker attendance records
- Ensure smooth office operations for ICOS Consulting and sister companies
