The organization is currently seeking qualified and motivated graduates to join its team as a Climate Finance Research Intern.
Position: Climate Finance Research Intern
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Have graduated within the last two years in one of the following fields or a related discipline:
- Environmental Economics
- Agricultural Economics
- Natural Resource Management
- Environmental Studies
- Environmental Science
- Development Studies
- Economics
- Sociology
- Related fields
Experience and Skills
Successful candidates should possess:
- Demonstrated interest in climate finance, sustainability, environmental management, or development finance.
- Experience conducting academic or professional research.
- Good understanding of climate change adaptation and mitigation concepts.
- Knowledge of carbon markets and carbon financing mechanisms is an added advantage.
- Experience in policy analysis, stakeholder mapping, or donor research is desirable.
- Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise, practical, and actionable outputs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet-based research tools.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
