Who Can Apply?
The program is open to individuals from diverse educational backgrounds who are interested in transitioning into Accounting and Finance.
Educational Background
Applicants may include:
- Graduates from fields other than Accounting and Finance, including graduates from natural sciences and other disciplines.
- High school graduates with strong English communication and numerical skills.
Experience
- No prior work experience is required.

Applicants should demonstrate:
- Strong desire and ability to learn.
- Curiosity and a growth mindset.
- Genuine motivation to build a new career in Accounting and Finance.
- Willingness to transition into Accounting and Finance regardless of their previous field of study.

Training Program
The program covers 12 courses in areas including:
- Accounting
- Auditing
- Ethiopian taxation
- Finance
- Public finance
Participants who successfully complete the training and pass the assessment examinations are expected to develop the foundational competencies required to handle basic accounting and finance functions in private or public organizations.
Laptop and Internet Requirement
Applicants must have:
- Their own laptop with adequate hardware and software capabilities.
- Reliable internet access.
Accommodation Requirement
Participants are expected to arrange their own accommodation and basic necessities, including food and other living expenses.
Therefore, applicants should:
- Be residents of Addis Ababa or nearby towns, or
- Have close relatives who can provide accommodation and basic necessities for approximately 12–18 months.
Career Opportunities
Participants who successfully complete all courses and pass the assessment examinations may be:
- Considered for recruitment into different Strategic Business Units of HST Consulting PLC.
- Recommended to other potential employers.
