Position: HR Intern (Female Candidates Only)
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for human resource management and a commitment to humanitarian values? MTI invites motivated female graduates to apply for this exciting internship opportunity in our Addis Ababa office.
Internship Duration: Full-time, short-term
Eligibility Criteria:
- BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related social science fields
- Graduated in 2015 or 2016 E.C. (i.e., recent graduates)
- Female applicants only
- Zero years of experience required
Key Responsibilities & Learning Areas:
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee records
- Support the HR team in maintaining confidential personnel files
- Help organize training sessions, meetings, and staff communications
- Maintain HR databases and support administrative tasks
- Learn and apply NGO-standard HR and compliance practices
- Contribute to team coordination and humanitarian mission support
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Human Resource Management principles
- Strong organizational and data management skills
- Excellent command of English and Amharic (spoken & written)
- Competency in MS Word, Excel, and database systems
- Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Willingness to travel to rural areas when needed
