In Ethiopia, ACTED is committed to delivering sustainable support to communities facing humanitarian and developmental challenges. The organization is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR/Admin Intern to join its team in Addis Ababa.
Position Summary
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resource management and office administration within an international NGO setting. The HR/Admin Intern will support recruitment, document management, compliance tracking, and day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Scan and digitize HR/Admin-related documents
- Assist with organizing training sessions, HR events, and engagement activities
- Handle filing, paperwork, and administrative tasks
- Track and manage office supplies and administrative inventory
- Assist in ensuring compliance with labor regulations and internal policies
- Perform general office support duties as required
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team
