Role Overview
We are seeking a Store Keeper to manage warehouse operations efficiently. The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory management, safe storage, and timely reporting, supporting the organization’s supply chain and operational goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: BA Degree in Supplies Management or related fields
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years proven experience, preferably in construction warehouse operations
Essential Skills
- Self-motivated and driven
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to work independently under pressure and in challenging circumstances
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing stock and ensure proper documentation
- Verify quantity, quality, and compliance of goods and report discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and timely record-keeping according to company procedures
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and safe
- Update stock balances weekly, monthly, and quarterly and report to supervisor
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations and report obsolete, damaged, or missing items
- Conduct inventory of fixed assets with delegated personnel
- Prepare lists of excess materials and update stock records periodically
