Position: Draftsman
Minimum Qualification
- Diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and entry-level applicants with 0 years of experience are eligible to apply.
Essential Skills and Competencies
Applicants should have:
- Advanced skills in 2D and 3D CAD software, including:
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- SolidWorks
- MicroStation
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of drafting standards, spatial geometry, building codes, and construction methods.
- Strong attention to detail and precision with dimensions, scale, and technical specifications.
- Strong spatial reasoning and the ability to visualize 3D structures from 2D drawings or data.
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify design clashes and structural inconsistencies before site execution.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating accurate 2D layouts and 3D CAD models for architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical works using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Modifying existing drawings based on redlines, field measurements, engineer feedback, or client-requested changes.
- Converting engineers’ and architects’ sketches, notes, and specification sheets into working construction documents and shop drawings.
- Maintaining organized digital drawing files, version-control logs, and project documentation for future reference.
- Reviewing drawings to ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and internal company standards.
