JOB POSITION & REQUIREMENTS

Our Professional underwriters will provide you service recommendations based on your needs, allowing you to make informed decisions. You can walk in any of our more than 50 branches in and outside Addis Ababa for every information and query.Never hurry to make a decision. Verify what you really want. Ask questions and clarifications. Look for alternatives you will have. Do not think that you are overcritical or we will question your motives. What you are doing is right and acceptable. Finally make decision based on your understanding. Our teams of underwriters on every branch are willing and able to help you traverse in all your concerns.

Position 1: Coordinator- Barakah Takaful

  • Education: BA or BSC/MA or MSC Degree in Management, Accounting, Marketing Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience: Eight/Seven years proven and relevant post qualification insurance experience out of which three years in supervisory position.

Knowledge & Skill

  • Good knowledge of insurance products & services.
  • Acceptable marketing & selling skills.
  • Excellent coordinating skills.
  • Communication, interpersonal & analytical skills.
  • Written & spoken English language proficiency.
  • Excellent computer skill.
  • Having CII certification is an advantage.

Place of work: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Senior Underwriting Officer-Barakah Takaful

  • Education: BA/MA in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration & Development Management or related fields.
  • Experience: Four years proven & relevant post qualification insurance experience out of which one year as Underwriting Officer II.

Knowledge & Skill

  • Excellent communication skill and personality.
  • Written & Spoken English language Proficiency.
  • Excellent computer skill.

Place of work: Addis Ababa

Position 3: Director- Human Capital & Property Management

  • Education: BA/MA in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration & Development Management or related fields.
  • Experience: Twelve/Ten years proven & relevant post qualification experience out of which two years in managerial position.

Knowledge & Skill

  • Communication, interpersonal & analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of relevant government laws and regulations.
  • Team player & capable of motivating staff working with full commitment and initiative.
  • Written & spoken English language proficiency.
  • Excellent computer skill.
