Position: Head, Life Insurance Division
Are you an experienced insurance professional with deep knowledge of life assurance products and regulatory compliance? Join Lion Insurance Company and lead the division that drives growth, innovation, and regulatory excellence in life insurance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Life Insurance Division, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and implement life insurance policies, operational procedures, and monitoring frameworks
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian life insurance codes and regulatory directives
- Supervise underwriting processes, risk assessments, and preparation of life policy documents
- Build internal capacity and lead performance evaluation and continuous improvement efforts
- Monitor the market landscape and identify opportunities to enhance product offerings
- Serve as the key liaison with regulators, auditors, and senior company leadership
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: MBA/MA/BA in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years (for MA/MBA) or 8 years (for BA) of relevant experience in life insurance or related financial services
Additional Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of life insurance operations, product design, and risk assessment
- Strong understanding of insurance regulation, compliance, and policy management
- Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
