Position: Hatchery Cost Accountant
EthioChicken is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Hatchery Cost Accountant to support its hatchery operations through accurate cost tracking, financial reporting, and process monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience in financial analysis.
Qualifications
- BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4 years of relevant work experience (experience in agribusiness or manufacturing is an advantage)
Competencies
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive, professional attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong proficiency in accounting software; ERP system experience is an added advantage
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
