Educational Qualification
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirement
- 0–1 year of work experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates should have:
- Knowledge and interest in fleet management systems.
- Proficiency in using GPS technology for fleet tracking and monitoring.
- Familiarity with telematics systems for data collection and analysis.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and servicing processes.
- Willingness to learn new technologies related to fleet management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior Fleet Engineer will support:
- Monitoring the operational performance and condition of company machinery and vehicles.
- Tracking preventive maintenance schedules and service due dates.
- Following up on machinery performance and identifying repair or maintenance needs.
- Monitoring spare parts requirements and coordinating with relevant teams.
- Maintaining accurate equipment service records and maintenance documentation.
- Communicating with customers regarding maintenance schedules, service updates, and equipment status.
- Coordinating with service technicians and internal departments.
- Preparing basic reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
- Supporting the use of GPS and telematics fleet monitoring systems.
- Ensuring maintenance activities follow company procedures and safety standards.
- Reporting equipment issues, recurring faults, and customer concerns.
- Maintaining organized fleet documentation, including inspection records, service logs, and warranty information.
