The Finance Department at the GIZ Country Office in Addis Ababa ensures that all financial transactions are processed and reported accurately, on time, and in compliance with GIZ’s financial rules and regulations. It also manages the smooth flow of funds to GIZ programs and projects.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree (completed) in:
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Business Administration
  • Related fields

Professional Experience

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• No prior work experience is required.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Knowledge of VAT and Withholding Tax regulations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
