Job Summary
Frontieri is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Admin and Logistics Assistant to join its team in Addis Ababa. This role is a great opportunity for fresh graduates looking to launch their careers in the fields of administration and logistics within a professional research organization.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Support daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain both physical and digital filing systems.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and visitor reception.
- Prepare and format office documents for internal and external use.
- Coordinate with maintenance and utility service providers.
Logistics and Inventory Management
- Assist in scheduling vehicles and coordinating driver tasks.
- Monitor office supplies and help manage procurement needs.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct routine checks.
- Support the management of company assets and records.
Event and Travel Coordination
- Assist with planning and organizing internal meetings and workshops.
- Help coordinate local and international travel, including bookings and accommodations.
- Provide logistical support during events and external assignments.
Vendor and Contract Support
- Maintain communication with vendors and external service providers.
- Track and manage vendor contracts and related documentation.
Finance-Related Administrative Support
- Record day-to-day financial transactions such as payables and receivables.
- Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor company cash flow to support smooth financial operations.
- Accurately document import/export transactions.
- Provide support for internal audits and financial reporting.
- Use Peachtree accounting software and Excel for finance tracking and analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–1 year of work experience. Internship or volunteer experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Familiarity with Peachtree software is a plus.
