About Finn Church Aid (FCA)
Finn Church Aid (FCA) is Finland’s largest international aid organization, working in 12 countries to support vulnerable communities regardless of religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation. FCA focuses on improving livelihoods through education, peacebuilding, and sustainable development initiatives.
The CREATE Project is a four-year program designed to expand youth participation in Ethiopia’s digital and creative industries. The project equips young people with market-relevant technical and entrepreneurial skills while creating pathways to employment, internships, and business development.
FCA is currently seeking a qualified Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Trainer to support the implementation of this initiative.
Position: Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Trainer
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce
- Demonstrated experience delivering training or capacity-building programs, preferably for youth or beginner-to-professional learners
- Experience in mentoring participants and supporting portfolio or project development
- Previous industry practice and training experience are considered an advantage
Required Skills
Successful applicants should have:
- Strong practical knowledge of digital marketing tools and e-commerce platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Experience using Canva, CapCut, and social media management and analytics platforms
- Strong understanding of current digital marketing strategies and industry trends
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver engaging, interactive, and practical training sessions
Duty Station
The assignment will be carried out at the FCA Creator Hub located within Teferi Mekonnen Polytechnic College, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
