ABOUT THE FINLAND GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP

The Finland Government Scholarship 2025–26 offers international students the opportunity to pursue tuition-free Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Finland’s top universities. Through the centralized Joint Application System, applicants can apply to up to six programs with one application — no application fee required.

• Medicine & Natural Sciences
• Hospitality, Logistics & Sport Studies

13 Research Universities and 22 Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) participate in the scholarship program.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Bachelor’s degree applicants must meet minimum education qualifications

Master’s applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate degree

• Go to Finland’s centralized application portal:

1. No separate scholarship application required
2. Choose up to 6 programs across different universities
3. Submit your application and upload required documents
4. You’ll automatically be considered for the scholarship based on your admission

DEADLINE

Application deadlines vary by university and program. Early preparation is advised. Most deadlines are between January–March 2025 for programs beginning Autumn 2025.
